Admission

ELIGIBILITY FOR DIPLOMA
     There are two modes for admissions:

  1. Diploma 1st Year
    • Through BTE -2018 (JEECUP-2018)
    • 10th & 12th passed/ appeared with minimum 35 % marks with Maths-50% Marks, Physics & Chemistry -50% Marks.

    • Through Direct Admission under Management Quota/ Vacant Seats after counseling of BTE – 2017 (JEECUP-2017)
    • As per Board of Technical Education guidelines.
  2. Diploma 2nd Year
    • Through BTE -2018 (JEECUP-2018)
      1. Intermediate Science – (Physics, Chemistry & Maths -40% Marks)
      2. ITI Trade (minimum 2 years duration) in the same Trade with 60% Marks.
      3. (Kindly go through the JEECUP-2017 brochure for K1 to K7 Lateral entry in 2nd Year of Engineering & Technology Diploma courses)
    • Through Direct Admission under Management Quota/ Vacant Seats after counseling of BTE – 2018 (JEECUP-2018)
    • As per Board of Technical Education guidelines

AGE LIMIT

          Minimum required age is 14 years but there is no upper limit for all regular Diploma course.

ADMISSION

          Students are admitted in diploma courses through State level Joint Entrance Examination. Admission forms are available in the month of December / January every year at all recognized polytechnics in UP. AIPS allows management quota for Diploma students per Board of Technical Education Guidelines.

RESERVATION

          21% seats for schedule cast, 2% seats for scheduled tribes, 27% seats for OBC candidates are reserved. 2% seats for freedom fighters, 5% seats for dependents military persons 3% seats for physically handicapped and 20% seats for women are horizontally reserved as per State Government rules.

SCHOLARSHIPS & FREESHIPS

          Free ship, scholar ships is admissible to the scheduled cast / tribes, OBC candidates and General candidate as per Government rules.
